I just read the unbelievable news on US Navy SEALS snipers cut down 3 privates, captured 1 and rescured Capt. Philips in Somalia. Only one word in my mind at that time: "incredible".
You know, even the snipers were in destroyer, maybe Bainbridge (DDG-96), this mission was very hard to perform. The marine surface is always ups and downs and Capt. Philips was taken hostage in a closed lifeboat at that time! How can the snipers aimed that privates!?
One thing more, US Government sent destroyers and nary forces to resure an ordinary (or insignificant) citizen. That is the greatest thing I should admire.
